Ana Paula Borgo lotta contro il cancro

Ana Paula Borgo lascia momentaneamente il volley. L’opposto brasiliano, che ha indossato la maglia di Bergamo nella passata stagione, ha annunciato di essere costretta a prendersi un periodo di pausa e ad allontanarsi dai campi di gioco per prendersi cura di sé e iniziare la sua lotta contro la malattia dopo la diagnosi di un cancro allo stomaco.

Ana Paula aveva fatto ritorno in Brasile solo pochi mesi fa per vestire la maglia del Barueri e proprio il suo nuovo club ha ufficializzato la notizia della malattia che costringe Borgo a fermarsi per seguire un ciclo di terapie.

Volley Bergamo 1991 augura una pronta guarigione a Ana Paula: lo spirito da guerriera che la contraddistingue in campo sarà certamente l’arma vincente che la accompagnerà sulla strada della guarigione.
